Sunset, as of Movie 4 Legend of Everfree as a form of empathy and telepathy. As such, she can hear very loud surface thoughts such as angry exclamations, internal squealing and others within a meter proximity. She can't hear actual words at this point, but she can understand your emotional state.

The other thing she has is a Touch Telepathic connection, able to see into memories with skin to skin touch. She can do this willingly or inadvertently, but for the most part has a definite control over the Telepathy. She cannot send her emotions into anyone, merely see into your characters memories and emotional state.

Please make a note below if you and your character are all right with this.

Please ask with Thea since she has some issues about being mentally messed with (Malcolm did brainwash her in canon). But beyond that a-ok and when in doubt please ask!

Thinking over how to make this work with what is known about Will's psychic ability in his canon.

Would it be possible to limit it so that she only receives surface thoughts directed specifically at her? Going from his canon, he does communicate in this way, but he also knows how to protect his mind to a certain degree from being read.

I'd be willing to plot out something with the touch telepathy eventually. Will can sometimes see into the past in a similar way.

Well, she only receives thoughts that are really "loud". Like a mental scream or something. She can't actually communicate with it. So that's fine.
